This city is famous for its many pilgrim destinations which has a significant impact on numerous devotees who visit this city every year from various parts of India. Siddheshwar Temple

The Temple is in the middle of a beautiful lake called as Siddeshwar Lake which enhances the beauty of the place with many folds. As per the tales from the locals, the temple was constructed by the Devotee of Sri Mallikarjuna of Srisailam, Shri Siddharameshwar, who wanted the locals to follow the right path by leaving under the guidance of holy place. As per the olden stories Lord Siddeshwar is none other than a form of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. The place is 700 years old and still able to show the god’s love and grace to the people of the town.

Phandharpur Temple

Address: Chouphala, Pandharpur, Solapur, India

The temple is dedicated to Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini, being renovated in the year 1195. Very few people know that this place is also known as southern kasha of India. The architecture of the temple is mesmerizing and gives unshakable peace to everyone visiting the place with real wish. Even the main entrance of the temple is named as Namdev Gate which itself have a unique importance for the people following this particular religion.

Akkalkot Temple:

Address: Gangapur Raod, Akkalkot, Solapur 413216, India

Timings: 6am-7pm on all days

Akkalkot Temple is dedicated to the saint Swami Samarth Maharaj and is one of the most famous temples in the whole town. People from far places following the saint come and visit the place for eternal peace. The uniqueness of this place is its architecture. Only very few people are aware that the temple has 96 steps, 96 pillars and 96 pictures in it. The place is also famous because of the banyan tree which is believed as the meditation spot of the aforesaid saint.
