Chandigarh is a beautiful city, known for being the first planned urban development in India. Much of the city’s structure has been designed by famous architect le Corbusier. The most intricate historical building in the city is the capitol complex and is also one that is created by Le Corbusier. This one has figures made from industrial waste and what you see are some of the most beautiful objects that are meant to be thrown away. A single day here is not enough. Another spectacular monument here is the geometric hill which is spread over 100 acres. It has art work on it and is made from waste material. Intended for the purpose of hiding the assembly from the road, it is a UNESCO designed world heritage site.
