A Visit To Family In Bangalore

It is always a pleasure to visit family functions at home. It is the time when all your family and cousins are together and you get to meet them. I visited one such family function recently at home in Bangalore. I had to travel from Delhi and was very excited for this. I have always loved to visit Bangalore every time. I like the food of the city which is one of the main reasons why I was very excited for this journey.

Tried the Cantonese Dish Char Siu Bao

One of the dishes which I tasted during my Bangalore visit was Char Siu Bao. It is a very famous Cantonese cuisine which is barbecued pork filled buns. There are many places in Bangalore where it is available easily. The buns are filled with the delicious flavours of barbecued pork and are served with different types of spices and additions.

There are a number of coffee shops in Bangalore which have variety of this dish on offer. It is a Malaysian recipe which is made famous in the region by the expats living in India. There are different shapes and sizes of this dish which is available in the country. I liked the steamed buns which are made with the mixture of the low protein flour and the wheat starch which makes the bun fluffier and softer.

Flights from Delhi

I had done my air tickets much before to get the best prices for the ticket booking. There are many airlines which have started to operate direct flights from Delhi to Bangalore. After comparing the ticket prices in different airlines I booked SpiceJet economy class Flight Tickets From Delhi To Bangalore for this journey. I did the booking at least 40 days before to get the lowest price. The in-flight services of SpiceJet were very good.

Ingredients to Make Char Siu Bao

It is not a very difficult recipe and can also be made easily at home. The main ingredients which are needed to make this recipe at home are

1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
1 pound pork tenderloin, trimmed
Cooking spray
1 cup thinly sliced green onions
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce

The dish is relatively new in Bangalore and not as famous street food as it is China or other Southeast Asian nations. Nevertheless, there are many places which have started to offer it. I tried it at many different Chinese restaurants in the city and simply loved its taste everywhere.
